Some of my earliest memories are of my dad coming home from work at lunchtime to listen to Paul Harvey. We had one of those laminate top tables with the chrome legs - in a very small kitchen so it was butted up to the side wall - and the cherished radio sat up against the wall next to the salt and pepper shakers. It was part of my childhood that carried right on over to adulthood; I so loved listening to that man. We lost a great one when he passed.
IBM had a racket going. But opportunity was found in the tiniest cracks inside their system. By the time the behemoth realized they were vulnerable the damage had been done and a new competitor was rising.
I think there's a lesson in there for us. Like a tiny stone in a slingshot aimed right between the eyes of a giant.
